Summary
A catalogue of an exhibition held at the Altonaer Museum in Hamburg, Norddeutsches Landesmuseum, in February-April 2002. Contains an album compiled by the Jüdische Selbstverwaltung of Theresienstadt, consisting of 92 biographies and photos of prominent Jews, a statement of accounts of the ghetto library, and 64 watercolors created by professional and lay artists in Theresienstadt. The omnibus volume was saved by Kaethe Starke, who was deported in 1943 from Hamburg to Theresienstadt and preserved the documents until the liberation. Includes photographs of individuals and artworks, and annotations.
