"This selection of works on paper is of particular significance since it comprises drawings from a period of the artist's activity not extensively documented in other collections. This is probably due to the fact that on his first visit to Sironi's studio in 1948 Eric Estorick acquired an immense amount of drawings, above all works dating from the 1910s and 1920s. The Foundation therefore possesses an extraordinary selection of images which both trace the creative journey of the artist during these years and confirm Estorick's deep understanding of the work of the master"--
