- Summary
- Presents two articles by Rahola, in which she asserts that anti-Zionism, especially as it is presented by the Left in Europe (e.g. leftist intellectuals such as Saramago and Theodorakis), is the new form of antisemitism - it is the antisemitism of the 21st century. It includes demonization of the State of Israel, falsifications regarding the Israeli-Arab conflict, and minimization of the Holocaust. States that a new "Protocols" is being written, the "Protocols of the Wise of Information". These protocols predicate that Israel is not legitimate, that Israel does not want peace, that the Palestinians are victims and that they are starving, and that Arafat is a hero. States that reporting false information is a frequent journalistic practice when dealing with Israel (when the press engages in propaganda instead of giving information), and that the European media, especially the leftist media, projects a totalitarian image of Israel. Referring to Muslims, adds that "Mein Kampf" and the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" are bestsellers in the Arab world today, and that hatred of the Jews is the basis of their public identity. Concludes that the Europeans do not recognize that Islamic supremacy is the new totalitarianism of our time.
