- Describes a visit to Auschwitz in May 2003 by 250 Israeli Arabs together with Israeli Jews and participants from France and Belgium. Initiated by an Israeli Arab, Father Emile Shoufan, the director of a Catholic school in Nazareth, the trip, entitled "Memory for peace", was organized to enhance Arab understanding of Jewish suffering and promote dialogue. Pp. 13-200 deal with preparations for the journey in the form of seminars and encounters with Holocaust survivors in Israel and France. Pp. 201-268 recount the actual visit. Pp. 123-143 trace Arab antisemitism.
