  • "This book, designed by Robert Meyrick, has been printed by David Vickers on Velin Arches 160 gsm pure cotton mould-made paper using a Heidelberg cylinder press. Rigy Graham's woodcuts were printed from the blocks using inks specially formulated by Cranfield Colours of Cwmbran. A further seven blocks were made available separately as prints. Monotype Baskerville Series 169 has been used throughout the book: title pages and chapter opneings hand-set in 18, 24 and 36 point, the text pages cast in 8 and 14 point from spools produced at Speedspools by Harry McIntosh. The compositor was Gerard O'Shea." -- colophon.
