- "Roman Singer's actions have made him into an internationally recognized contemporary Swiss artist. His "Reisefotos" (travel photos), on the other hand, have never before been exhibited. Produced over a 20-year period, they include unintentionally comical events, object installations made by unknown means and snapshots and remind us of Singer's other better-known work. The photos are sometimes pictorial, sometimes narrative and almost always humorous. They come from Iceland, Poland, Switzerland and far-away countries.
