- Summary
- This book presents a collection of articles of analysis and prospection of the Brazilian economy. The authors show that, despite the low economic growth, the 90s was for Brazil a period of intense transformations, revolutionizing the business environment and bringing the country closer to starting another expansion cycle, now under the aegis of a new development model. The works cover most of the themes that monopolized the economic debate in the 90s, among them the effort of macroeconomic stabilization, trade integration, the fiscal crisis, privatization and its consequences, the restructuring of the economy and the impact of reforms on employment.
