Includes a historical overview of the persecutions in Belgium, the stories of some Belgian rescuers, interviews with Jewish leaders, a chapter on Jews who helped the Jews of Belgium, a study of the collaboration of local police in the arrest of Jews in Antwerp in 1942, a list of 1,558 Belgians recognized by Yad Vashem as Righteous among the Nations, and a list of 262 institutions that hosted Jewish children during the Shoah.
