Summary
The work of the Brazilian sculptor Angelo Venosa is analyzed in an study by the critic Luiz Camillo Osorio. His essay departs from the concept of "opacity" as a mark of the artist and reviews the formation as graphic designer, the beginning of the career, the revelation as one the most representatives creators of the so-called Generation 80, his main influences, works in public spaces and the most important shows of his trajectory. The edition includes a vast photographic register of works, as the sculptures in organic forms (bones, teeth, fragments of the skeleton) and the specular ones (profiles, glasses, mirrors). The book includes the section "Selected Texts", with texts by Flora Sussekind, Ivo Mesquita, Lorenzo Mammi and Ronaldo Brito.
