An analysis of part of the life of Hannah Brenner (psued: Anita Brenner) from her birth (1905, Aguascalientes, Mexico, immigrated to U.S. in 1910) until 1932 in relation to her writings on art and the Mexican Revolution. Her work, "Idols Behind Altars" and the "The Wind that Swept Mexico" remains a respected references today. Both titles used extensively the photography of contemporary photographers in Mexico.
