Les Toubou, peuple du Sahara, faisaient de longs voyages. C'étaient des voyages à dos de chameau, souvent en caravane. Pendant le trajet, certains chantaient en l'honneur de leurs bien-aimés, d'autres causaient. Ils racontaient des histoires, et toute une littérature orale se développait autour du voyage. D'abord publié en langue dazaga (gorane, toubou), voici maintenant la version traduite en français par l'auteur.
