Summary
The Black and Tans is a name that even today can still evoke anger and disgust in many people because of the way that group treated the Irish during their short stay in the early a920s. They were hired drunken hooligans, given uniforms and guns by Britan and sent to fight the Irish people as they struggled for independence.
