- Summary
- This book provides a novel and valuable contribution to the existing literature on political parties. The volume is based on the papers presented at an international symposium held at Leiden University, which brought together national and international scholars from the disciplines of law and political science to discuss the regulation of political parties, in the Netherlands and elsewhere, from an interdisciplinary and comparative perspective. The book aims to address the existing lacuna in the literature on the subject of party law, by discussing the various dimensions of party regulation, in Europe and in other regions of the world, addressing both conceptual issues and recent empirical findings.
