Raquel Maulwurf (1975, Madrid, Spain) lives and works in Amsterdam. Her drawings spring from a fascination with the urge of humans to destroy themselves, each other and their surroundings. Her large-scale charcoal drawings on museum board, often scratched open, literally materialise destruction in both subject and method.
