"This catalogue is published by Carleton University Art Gallery in Ottawa to accompany a solo survey exhibition of photographs by the Ottawa artist Meryl McMaster, curated by Heather Anderson and presented at the gallery from 2 May - 28 August 2016. It will then tour to five other venues: Richmond Art Gallery, Richmond, BC, 14 January 19 March 2017; Thunder Bay Art Gallery, Thunder Bay, ON, 21 April 4 June 2017; Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba, Brandon, MB, 13 July 10 September 2017; University of Lethbridge Art Gallery, Lethbridge, AB, 18 January 15 March 2018; The Rooms Provincial Art Gallery Division, St. John's, NL, 26 May 23 September 2018. It is a full-colour, illustrated catalogue about Meryl McMaster's self-portraiture, and features images selected from three of her photographic series: Ancestral, In-Between Worlds, and Wanderings. The catalogue features essays by Toronto art historians Gabrielle Moser and cheyanne turions. It also features an interview (edited and condensed) between Meryl McMaster and Heather Anderson."--
