Summary
Deze nieuwe tentoonstelling schetst een portret van de artistieke contacten van de koningin in de loop van de oorlog. Daarbij passeren zowel schilders [als Bastien, Claus en Van Sassenbrouck], muzikanten [als Ysaye en Saint-Saëns] en schrijvers [als Verhaeren, Rolland en Gide] de revue. Ook de nauwe betrokkenheid van de koningin bij de werking van de 'Section artistique de l'Armée belge en campagne' en het 'Orchestre Symphonique de l'Armée' komen aan bod. De talrijke contacten van de koningin werden door haar uitvoerig gefotografeerd, een selectie van deze foto's komt eveneens aan bod op de tentoonstelling.
