"...This manuscript the Shifa-us-Sibyan (cure for children) in Persian written by Hakeem Mohammad Akbar Arzani (1721 A.D.), a renowned physician of Unani medicine, contains the state of human health in elaborate and comprehensive way. Hakeem Mohammad Akbar Arzani has sound command over the subject. In the text he has quoted the experiences of earlier physicians while stating his own experiences. In this treatise he has covered not only the management of diseased conditions of the newborn and children but of the pregnant females and the lactating or foster mothers as well. Many of his treatises on different aspects of health care have been translated in Urdu leaving the 'Shifa-us-Sibyan' and the 'Tibb-e-Hindi'..." -- Foreword.
