Summary
In 1990 collaborative practice of Rafael Aranda, Carme Pigem, and Ramon Vilalta was invited to visit Japan for three weeks and participate in an architectural competition. This was a profound experience for the young architects, who were inspired by the rich, lush landscape pervaded by a sense of perfection and beauty, effort and commitment. Published with exhibition at Toto Gallery MA, this volume celebrates dynamic dialogue that has since emerged between Japan and Catalonian office. It is a close examination of project La Vila and Paper Pavilion, where we can collectively learn and experience nature on vast site with a research facility, workshop, and more.00Exhibition: Toto Gallery, Tokyo, Japan (24.01-24.03.2019).
