- Summary
- James Ferguson (1757-1816) was born in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. It is believed that James immigrated to the American Colonies with his three brothers and first went to Virginia where he married Elizabeth Fleming (1763-1848). Later James and Elizabeth settled in Tennessee. Descendants lived primarily in Tennessee and North Carolina.
