  • The first part of this book is based on an international conference held in Berlin, 10-11 June 2016, with the title of: "The early processes of Christianization in Central and Eastern Europe: the broad historical canvas and aspects of Mieszko I's baptism in 966." It was organized by the Center for Historical Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Berlin (CBH PAN) and the Leibniz-Institut für Geschichte und Kultur des östlichen Europa (GWZO) in Leipzig. The second part of this book is based on many years of research conducted by CBH PAN.--Title page 7.
