Summary
Resuts of an international survey carried out by Gallup International Inc. on the occasion of the ninth Annual Meeting of the International Society of Political Psychology, held in Amsterdam, June 29-July 3, 1986. The survey covered issues related to public communication and peace, and fieldwork was carried out between January and March 1986 in 23 countries. Topics included: arms control treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union; awareness of the resumption of arms control talks; arms control talks' effect on the chance of nuclear war; and source of information about problems of armament and disarmament.
