Summary
The history of ancient Russia begins 70,000 years ago. The author examines the epic events leading to the formation of the empire in Eastern Europe, thousands of years before the officially accepted date. Klimov contends that the first humans were not in Africa, but on the Russian Plain. This is where a civilization arose with unparalleled intellectual power. All later ancient states were only on the periphery of the first-born civilization. Examined are the birth and death of Hyperborea, the formation of the empire of Aratta, with colonies in Egypt and India, Aratta's decay and the formation of new kingdoms, the Great Wall of China built on the ruins of the Great Wall of Aryan and the populating of the Americas, along with other controversial theories.
