- Contains letters to and from Charles Edson, which chronicle the progress of his work on vol. 10, pars 2, fasc. 1 of the Inscriptiones graecae, which he edited. Included in the volume is selected correspondence of scholars who were Edson's predecessors in the field of Greek epigraphy. These letters date from 1741-1944, and document their scholarly work.
