Summary
Number 11 of the series explores how feminism, gay activism, pós-pornography and other forms of critical response from the body are transforming the discourse of art history and grammar of art itself. The publication merges theoretical essays and visuals proposals that revisits queer initiatives in art or propose new visions of art history in the light of these critical responses. The edition includes two attachments: a folded poster "Museu Travestí del Perú", a project of the Peruvian philosopher and drag queen Giuseppe Campuzano (1969-2013), It proposes a critical review of the history of Peru from the perspective of the fictional figure of "androgynous Indian she-male/mestizo"; and a stencil created by Serigrafistas Queer with the phrase "El machismo mata!".
