Summary
Memoirs of a Jew born in 1927 as Sonia Schulman. In 1941 her family was living in Smorgon, Poland (now Smarhon, Belarus) when the Nazis occupied that part of the country. At the end of 1942, she was sent to a labor camp in Žiežmariai, Lithuania. In 1943 she was transported to the Kovno ghetto, and in 1944 to Stutthof, and later Kaufering.
