- Summary
- Set in Ireland during the 60s and 70s, a coming of age story embedded with philosophical ideas. The search for the secret of the lost universal language leads the young Irish monk Sam Toland to monasteries and libraries in southern Germany and Switzerland. On these trips he also meets the girlfriend of his twin brother Jack, the beautiful Swiss photographer Raphaëlle. Because of her, there is a deadly rivalry between the two brothers.
