- This book is the outcome of an intense series of field works that have sought to recover information from the Chancay 'architecture', expressed in its walls and its supportive relationship with the landscape, turning them into graphic documents, and from there to analyze and interpret the meaning of the spatial organization from its three dimensions: management of the territory, the organizational structure of the settlements and the design of his buildings, which together build a symbolic cultural landscape. Is weighted the development achieved by the old Chancay society in the planning, design and construction of its architecture, from the hiring of the main material remains in the areas of their occupation, taking as a center of reflection the archaeological site known as Pisquillo Chico, located in the Valley of Chancay.
