Summary
Carla Caffé takes advantage of the bias of the comic strip to portray how the art direction of the award-winning feature film Era o Hotel Cambridge (2016), by Eliane Caffé. With the help of 21 architecture students from the City School, Carla worked on the composition of the art direction of the film from the architectural improvements that could be left in the building for the families living in the Cambridge occupation in the center of São Paulo. Merging work and collective creation and the problem of homelessness and refuge in big cities, the book also includes texts by Eliane Caffé, Jorge Lobos, Lucia Santaella, Nabil Bonduki and Raquel Rolnik, as well as an enlightening interview with Carmen Silva, leader Of the Front for Struggle for Housing.
