Summary
Since 1994, the library of the University of Applied Arts Vienna has been building a collection of artist's books. The criterion for the collection is the artist's intention to create a book as a work of art. This publication documents examples of conceptual art, Fluxus, concrete poetry, appropriation, and Minimal Art, and at the same time, presents the scope and thematic high points of the library's collections.
