Summary
"Tesis filosóficas" is a facsimile of the 1795 philosophical thesis in Latin written by Mexican Roman Catholic priest and revolutionary rebel leader of the Mexican War of Independence movement, José María Morelos. It is acompanied by two Spanish translations and a preliminary study. Having been discovered in El Colegio de Jalisco, it opens a new investigation and discussion on the life, molding, and trajectory of Morelos. Commentary by Héctor Cuauhtémoc Hernández Silva. Translations by Juan González Morfin and Jaime Olveda and José Quiñones Melgoza.
