- The present text studies the historical context of the funerary customs of the farmers, potters, goldsmiths that have inhabited the Colima region in the last 3,000 years. The research that took several years to develop, studies the historical context of the customs and funeral practices of the pre-Hispanic era between the second millennium B.C. and the early 18th century; and makes a comparative analysis in terms of space time with the other neighboring cultures that settled in this region. The book is a contribution to the funeral guidelines of the areas of Colombia and especially the region of Calima in the Cordillera Occidental (Colombian West Andes)
