Summary
Papyrological editions developed by young scholars under the guidance of the editors as part of an international summer school for Coptic papyrology. Includes editions with translations of Coptic literary and magical texts as well as letters, legal documents and administrative letters from different regions of Central and Upper Egypt (Faijum, Hermupolis, Bawit, Aphrodito, Esna, Apollonopolis magna) from the 6th-12th cnetury AD with the main focus on the 7th/8th century, the time when the Byzantine province was transformed into a province of the early Islamic caliphate.
