Summary
Eleven-year-old Gordon lives in Co. Wexford. When he's not wrecking the house or destroying the garden, he helps out picking potatoes and baling hay on the family farm. His life changes forever when he discovers an amazing game he has never seen before - rugby! Gordon knows this is the sport for him, he just has to play. It turns out he is pretty good! Gordon heads off to a new school leaving the farm behind. But it turns out that his skills from the farm come in more useful than he expects - even on the rugby field! Soon, Gordon's dreams of wearing the green jersey don't seem too far away . . .
