- The current life in society has led to a growing interest in the presence of urban public space due to the need to have areas for recreation, education and coexistence in cities. Our cities, interested only in the profitability of the land, produce architecture, but are unaware of the usefulness of conceiving urban projects with good planning of public areas based on respect for cultural and environmental values, which allow the necessary sensitive quality in the design to ensure the physical and emotional development of people. In this volume, 26 works by ten nationally and internationally renowned landscaping professionals are exposed and analyzed, showing the characterization of their projects based on the use of design tools based on knowledge of the environment, artificial and natural heritage. , social development, to produce spaces with great diversity of scales and complexities that prioritize the interest of relating man with nature, with the ecology of the place and with the cultural values ??of the site.
