"The high degree of heterogeneity that exists between the agricultural holdings that make up a population makes decision-making difficult at the rural level. In this sense, by grouping the farms according to their main differences and relationships, the aim is to maximize the homogeneity and heterogeneity of the farms and facilitate their analysis, and therefore, decision-making.
