- Note
- "A Christmas morality tale by the great French poet. A stuffy Bourgeois prepares to spend Christmas alone as usual with the toys he has never played with and the candles he has never lit. He is accosted by a poor but fast-talking individual who insinuates himself, a woman, a little boy, a dog, a cat, a bird and a mouse into his house. They pack him off to sleep loaded with Kodorsdine, the sedative for the poor that is their daily fare. (From qui dors dine - he who sleeps dines or a nap is as good as supper). They then proceed to have a proper christmas.
