Description
xix, 384 pages; 25 cm.
Summary
This volume presents a succinct account of the legal and constitutional structure of New Zealand and illustrates the fact that New Zealand, like the other members of the Commonwealth, has its own individuality as a state and stands, in spite of all that it may have derived in law from Britain, as an independent nation working out its own political and legal life along its own lines. What is apparent, twoo, is that it is at one with the United Kingdom in believing that the fundamental principle of its legal life must be the rule of law.
