Summary
The first work on medical jurisprudence written in the English language. Guy first published this work in London in 1844, and it was the standard work on the subject for many years. The American editor has also included an additional 200 pp. on matters specifically pertaining to American issues. This commentary is based on the editor's consultations with C. Kent who permitted the publication of his opinions in this matter. The editorial remarks appear in brackets throughout.
