Summary

"Tg1 has unfortunately come down to us in a rather fragmentary state. The text is made up of one roll 109 x 4-6cm in size, 27 large fragments of various sizes, and a number of small fragments containing only a few letters or words. Nothing has remained of the first 16 chapters of Job. The large fragments contain the remains of 28 columns (cols. 1-28) and cover portions of chaps. 17-36. The connected scroll has ten columns (cols. 29-38) and contains portions of chaps. 37-42. The text ends at 42, and while there is a blank column following col. 38, it is now impossible to determine whether anything followed at the bottom of col. 38 or at the top of col. 39, now both lost ..."--Description of Tg1 pg.
