- Summary
- Anthropologist Richard Leakey discusses his views on evolution and the origin of man. The genus homo goes back about three million years, he says, and had its origin in Africa. Although man is adaptable, rapid advances in technology may place too great a strain on his adaptability, Leakey fears.
