- Thomas Dalton (b.1732) born at Pembrey, Wales was the emigrant ancestor that emigrated to America and served in the Revolutionary War. His son John Dalton is believed to have been born at Canico Jiggs, Northumberland Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Cooker and they lived in Bucks Co., PA. Several other Dalton lines are also explored. Family members are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints and many live in Utah.
