- Specimen Dynamicum was never published as such by Leibniz. First part appeared in 1695 as "Acta Eruditorum". Second part appeared as "Essay de Dynamique" in "Mathematischen Schrifter" vol.6."Specimen Dynamicum" was drawn up 10 years later as the "Discours de Metaphysique".
