- Summary
- Deals with the opposition of Conrad Gröber (1872-1948), Archbishop of Freiburg between 1932-38, to the Nazi regime. Pp. 114-121 deal with Gröber's views on Jews and Judaism, based mainly on the testimony of a converted Jewess who described how he helped Jews, especially "Christian Jews". However, in his writings Gröber criticized the Jewish religion and avoided dealing with the persecution of the Jews by Christians during the Middle Ages and the Holocaust.
