- This text is part of an international course of graduate level study developed by seven European universities, to attain a degree of "European Master of Development Studies in Social and Educational Sciences." The text serves as the course "Resource Bank Book" for one of the six, required core modules. The text provides an overview of European visions in the past and the present, through a comparative examination of three religions--Judaism, Islam, and Christianity--and their impact on the evolution of modern Europe, followed by an historical analysis of visions for a social and non-excluding Europe.
