Summary
1, 2, 3-trichloropropane is a chlorinated alkane, which is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of other chemicals (e.g. pesticides) and as a crosslinking agent in the production of polymers. It is known that 1, 2, 3-trichloropropane is carcinogenic in rats and mice, inducing a wide range of tumors in both sexes. In this book, risk assessment of 1, 2, 3-trichloropropane, including exposure, effects on animals, humans and the environment, is described concisely.--Publisher's description.
