- Summary
- This work contains the notes of lectures delivered at an October 2003 course, plus contributions by some of the participants who delivered seminars at the course. The lectures discuss dynamical mean-field theory and electronic structure in strongly correlated electron materials, electron-phonon interaction and strong correlations in high-temperature superconductors, and Monte Carlo simulations of quantum systems with global updates. Participant contributions look at topics such as spectral functions, local Mott metal-insulator transitions in confined fermions on optical lattices, and electronic Raman scattering in density waves.
