- Summary
- A portrait of Kurt Waldheim, President of Austria and former Secretary-General of the United Nations, recounting the discovery of his Nazi past. Describes his activities in the SA from 1938, and during World War II in Greece and Yugoslavia, his possible involvement in war crimes in Yugoslavia, and his knowledge of the deportation of Salonika's Jews to Auschwitz. Discusses his postwar career, his attempt to lie about his past, the exposure of these facts during the election campaign, and the reactions of various governments and of the Austrians themselves who reelected Waldheim despite his Nazi past.
