Summary
Retrospective exhibition dedicated to figurative artist Rojas, and his more than 30 years of artistic trajectory. Rojas influenced by conceptual, symbolic and political aspects, explores in different media, topics like: marginality, sexual differences, social displacement and recently the violence associated to drug trafficking. The catalogue includes details on his mystic series of the "Teatro Faenza"; the series "David", comprising 12 black and white photographs of a naked and mutilated soldier that recall Renaissance artist Michelangelo famous statue and many other art pieces that included photographs, prints and paintings. Includes texts by: Víctor Manuel Rodríguez, Santiago Rueda Fajardo, Miguel González, Raúl Cristancho, Jaime Cerón and Natalia Gutiérrez.
