Summary
Exhibition dedicated to conceptual artist Olga de Amaral (b. Colombia 1932), and her pioneering work with tapestry and textile installations inspired in Pre-Columbian fabrics and designs. Since 2006 she has integrated gold leaves into her textile pieces. De Amaral has participated in International Art Biennials during the 1980's and 1990's. Includes a text: "Olga de Amaral: Del manto de la memoria" by Edward Lucie-Smith.
