Catalogue of the13th Biennale of Photography considered one of the most important photographic events in Mexico and a reflection of the state of photography in the country. This edition celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Centro de la Imagen and redefines previous biennales making it now an integral part of larger international processes that includes PhotoFest, PhotoPoland and the Grange Prize of the Art Gallery in Ontario, Canada. The catalogue presents the selected works of 25 photographers including the 2 acquisition prizes won by: Andrés Carretero Martínez for his phenotypes series and Gerardo Montiel Klint for his landscape series and the 4 special mentions for: Livia Corona, José Luis Cuevas, collective Grupo Reforma (Javier Cárdenas Tavizón, Santino Escatel and Alejandro Fournier) and Oswaldo Ruiz.
